Donald Turek, Chairman of the Board & Co-founder.
Mr. Turek first retired in 1987 as Senior Vice President of US Tobacco
Company, Inc. In 1989, Mr. Turek became a principal investor and CEO of
Environmental Safety Systems, Inc. He grew Environmental Safety Systems
through a combination of corporate and franchise operations and in 1996,
Mr. Turek sold the company and his individual franchise operations to
the Centex Corporation (NYSE CTX). He is also COB of Aviation Data
Systems, Inc., a developer and integrator of proprietary aviation
maintenance and logistics software. Additionally, Mr. Turek sits on the
board of directors of several national and international charitable
organizations.
John B. Lamers, Vice
President Sales & Marketing, Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Lamers has been with Airwire since the company’s inception in 1998.
At Airwire, Mr. Lamers’ responsibilities include developing sales channels
for Airwire’s access services, managing marketing and promotions,
developing market strategy, launching Airwire’s line of wireless Internet
access products, and forming alliances with strategic partners. He has
successfully introduced wireless access services in Central Florida and
served as a key player in the company’s start-up. Mr. Lamers has
continually brought vision and results to this key position. Mr. Lamers
received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from
Flagler
College in St. Augustine, FL in 1995.
